Colt used to be ER Shaw but I heard they've changed to a different supplier.

Depends on what "make" means.

I read a public SEC filing that stated Colt made their own barrels, but relied on a single steel blank provider for their barrels. LINK Colt Defense LLC S-1 Filing- page 10 Raw Materials

That sole-provider of blanks may be ERS, but Colt makes a barrel out of it.

I called BM a couple of weeks ago to order an 11.5" bbl. I was told that they were backordered but that "they" were running a batch in 2-3 weeks, maybe sooner.
Point being...I was led to believe that "they" made their own bbls.
