Ok.. from what I have heard the troy rails are really good so I got one and the first one was rock solid but the bottom piece that comes off and on has a little bit of wiggle in it and if u move it around with a Vgrip it will make some klinking sounds not much at all but I was told that the bottom piece it rock soild also like will not wiggle at all nor have any play.. so I got another one from Troy and it goes the same thing... so I take it off my rifle and just mount it on a barrle nut and the bottom piece is still a little wiggley.. I mean this is driving me crazy.. anyone out there at all with Troy middy rail's please post here and let me know if it is or should not wiggle at all I mean I would not even call it that but it does have a very very tiny bit of play on the bottom rail you can take off.. so please help me out here.. Do I have to send them both back or just one? are they both bad? or do that do that? this has been killing me for the past 2 weeks... and my other one came in this fri so I cant contact troy and in the mean time this is messing up my work.. cuz I live in hawaii so they close at like 10AM my time so I need to miss work to call them.. and stuff.. and if they are both messed up any idea's why? damn I hate this.. |

Unistall the forearm and then re-install it. The instructions are included with the rail system if you got it from Troy directly. Look on their site, if I remember correctly, they have directions on their site as well. Without pictures or having the rifle right in front of me it's a little hard to determine the problem. |
People on here know plenty about them. I've got 2 of them and I've installed another hald dozen. Every one of them has been very tight. Everybody I have ever talked to has found them to be very tight. The fact that you are the only person having this problem should be a clue. You're either installing them wrong or you simply have unrealistic expectations. People who ask clarifying questions are trying to help you. Calling them names is not going to get any assistance out of them and shows that your attitude is at least as bad as your spelling and grammar. People need to ask you questions because your posts are difficult to decipher. |

ok calling who names... I just wont to know if it should have play in it.. I installed both of them correct I know this for a FACT and you are not telling me anything here.. you say u have installed them and that they are tight.. read the whole post befor you replay mine is tight the top peace is solid it is just the BOTTOM PIECE THAT COMES OFF THAT HAS SOME PLAY IN IT so I would not call somthing that has play in it tight.. I dont believe this crap... |
| omg thank you so much u just saved my night man just to know that it is normal I have been sick over this the last week and a half trying to ask on the forums and everyone says there troy rails has no play at all.. and it is rock soild and mine is it is just the bottom peice that kinda has a bit of a wiggle.. they are the middy rails not car so i dont know if that would make a difference.. |
