I've been lurking and reading for a while, but even in the search, I can't find a comparison of 5.56 Uppers like there is for 6.8's, as well as just about every other component. So here it is.

I just started my first AR build, and being my first AR I decided to keep it pretty much milspec. I have a stripped DPMS lower, and completing it doesn't look too bad; I'll figure it out.

However, I'm a bit intimidated by the upper, so I elected to go with a completed one.
Question is, which upper?

I'm seriously looking at DPMS 16," RRA 16," and Stag 16." All are complete Flat-top uppers, chrome lined, 1:9 Twist, and all fall within my price range. The Stag is a bit more because it comes with flip-up rear sights, but I don't know if they are removable or not?

My question would be, is there anything about any of these uppers that really sets it apart from the others, whether good or bad?

Thanks
