New to the AR, and have decided I just have to have one. Which manufacturer(s) have the best quality product. I'm thinking I should buy one complete for my first AR, but would be open to building it if necessary. I will have to be able to make it California "compliant" so Armalite, Bushmaster, Colt, and Knight's lower receivers I believe are all "on list" and banned. (I'm not willing to buy a top loader) Most important to me is reliability and accuracy. I know "you get what you pay for", and am willing to pay. Rifle will mostly be used for target shooting and some varmint hunting, but want something that will survive a Carbine course. So far I've been thinking about the Wilson Combat UT-15, or something with a Knight upper receiver on it. Thanks in advance |

use the search button! I can't help with the Cali stuff but knights is a good way to go... however they don't sell uppers only... maybe a nice UPPER from Noveske would be nice... mike P.S. big points for the carbine class comment! |
