Anyone used one of these? How efficient are these compared to a DTNC or QC comp?
I have a QC and like it however the bbl. I want to put one on is skinny and would look out of place. IHMO
Thanks for input.

Nobody has ever used one of these?

The YH has zero comp/brake performance.  It works well as a flash suppressor, but I'd go with something else for a comp/brake.

The 5c2 has a closed bottom and does act somewhat as a muzzle rise comp, but has no braking at all. Most of the decent brakes are going to be at or close to 1" diameter, as that is the limit under USPSA 3-gun rules for limited/tactical. Most of the skinny brakes are designed to soften the heavy recoil of a high-powered hunting caliber and still not deliver too much concussion to the shooter. This means less noise, but also less braking in a caliber like .223, which doesn't have gas pressures that are as high as the big boys. Magnum rifle cartridges have enough pressure and volume to "work" a brake with less baffle surfaces and still provide adequate performance.
