When you order a kit from say, del-ton or J&T, do they have to build your kit or do they already have them in stock ready to go? I've purchased kits at gunshows FTF, but I've never mail ordered a kit before. I want to know what kind of lead time a kit usually has. Edit: The kit I am looking at is a standard offering, not a specialized item that is not offered. |
I've ordered quite a few kits, (12) from Model 1 Sales, off their web site. If I order on Sat. or Sun. they show up on Fri., (5 days). All have been A3's, (flat top) in 5.56 or 7.62X39 with black or green furniture. They are in Tx & I'm in Ia, so I figure they were made-up ahead. I really like thier kits, have a couple with over 10,000 rds and counting.
