| Building my own AR now after shooting my girlfriends 2. So far I have a knight flatop upper, RRA lower with 2 stage trigger, M4 stock and hogue grips. Need to decide on which barrel and rail system. Wanting something in the midlength 16" variety and chrome lined. Want a floater rail and want to attach a bipod and maybe other items later on. Whats the best band for the buck barrel and rail system? |
Welcome to the site  for the barrel, take a look at CMMG also look at the LaRue and DD Lite rails - while not cheap, they are excellent quality and have a loyal following here. (buy once, cry once  )

Here (link below) are my two top picks for chrome lined 16" middy barrels. If you want to spend less, I am also happy with my Rock River 16" c/l barrel. As rails go, I really like Daniel Defense, LaRue, and Samson.
