I'm really wanting to get order one but i haven't really seen too many pictures of them with different barrels in different lengths. What are the chances that we can get a small picture thread going from members that may own them for those of us that may be interested.

Yeah particularly the rifle length, i've seen a decent number of pictures of the carbine length and alot of them have sbr barrels and ive seen a few middy's but I don't think ive seen any nice pictures of the rifle length, i kinda wonder what one would look like with a 18 inch barrel or maybe if a 16 would fit it.

you have to deal with the nfa stuff for a 12.5 inch barrel dont you? I want something that looks great that doesnt force me to deal with the whole nfa tax stamp mess.

thats perfect, i've really wanted the effect of the hand gaurd ending right about where the suppressor began and that last picture is just about spot on. If it was any shorter i'd have to deal with nfa wouldn't i?

Your going to have to deal w/ NFA for the suppressor anyway, if you went w/ a 14.5 and had a pinned Flash hider that would accomidate a suppressor mount (Gemtech Halo etc) then you would have a legal 16" barrel and it would be a little shorter. Remember though, Rifle length handguards w/ a suppressor is going to make for one front heavy ass gun. I would suggest using an A2 stock or even better a MagPul UBR

Meh, we've all blown $200 on worse crap.  I think it'd be worth it.

That is not a VIS-3, thats a VIS-10. The VIS-3 is a 12" Rifle Length :D

I'm pretty sure that's a VIS-2A. A VIS 3 would be about as long as the barrel. Ryan also pointed that out above.

Whatever it is, VIS on a Noveske 12.5.  I don't care if it's called a Vltor Flaming Turd, it's awesome.

Fair enough. I don't care either. Just that the OP specifically asked for VIS 3.
