| How do they come packed, and what does it include? |
| They come in a thick, plain white box with a white lable and black lettering. Label will be marked with KAC's name and address, the product name and product number. Inside the box, three KAC pannels installed on the rail, and everything will be in a thick plastic bag. There will also be a pain instruction sheet printed on a white piece of paper. |

I saw an M4 RAS that came in a black plastic "roll-up" sheet with pouches (much like you would get a set of wrenches in.) The pouches (logo-marked along with Knight's Armament Co., Vero Beach, FL) which contained the rail covers, wrapped around the rail itself. Stuck in the rail was a KAC-marked VFG. I am not questioning the authenticity, but I have never seen them packaged this way. |

Im sure that one of the KAC folks who post on the board can correct me, but I have seen the following: White Box with the RAS, VFG and plastic sleeve with the rail covers: White Box with the RAS, VFG individually plastic bagged rail covers Brown Box with only the RAS (Might be Diamondback specific, but thats why I dont buy RAS's from DBT anymore. Same price as from KAC, but you have to pay extra for all the rail covers and VFG) |
That's how my first came, but I have seen all sorts of packaging at gun shows. With the rash of fakes out now, going to have to check more carefully. I hit the Savannah, GA (Hunter AAF) and Columbia, SC (Ft. Jackson) gun shows from time-to-time. I'll be interested to see how many "military packaged" RAS are up for sale. |
