Someone just gave me one of these for xmas, problem is I have a S&W M&P15 not the full length A1/2 that it seems this was made for. So what if anything can I do to make this work properly? I assume I could buy a new A2 buffer tube, buffer and spring but I'm hoping there is a cheaper fix! Any input is appriciated. Additionally is there a 'cheap' monopod that fits the rear of this? Thanks |

Sorry, but you will need to put the proper parts in there; that will include the tube, buffer, and spring. Also when you start with a 1K rifle and Add a $250.00 stock why would you want to put a cheap monopod on it? makes as much sense as a $40.00 scope from China on a .50 BMG. Resist the temptation to put low quality parts on a good rifle. In the long run you will be better off. Until you can afford a good monopod use sand bags (you really shouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway if you still have the stock trigger installed Just my .02 buy quality and you will never be diappointed. |

Accu-shot is the only company that I am aware of that makes an monopod specifically for the magpul PRS. They make them in 2 different lengths and 2 types. www.accu-shot.com/ |
Landcruiser - Actually the cheap monopod was because the ones I had seen where 150-180, which I can't justify for such a simple design as the ones I've seen. Yes that horid stock trigger was the first thing I modified.
GREAT thats is exactly what I'm looking for. |
