How can I get the M5 to fit on my HBAR? Do I punch out the roll pin in the front to take out the little spacer? -BJohnson |
There is a bracket on the front that is held on by a roll pin. The bracket is too small to fit around the barrel and the front of the M5 will not fit under the lip of the handguard cap. -BJohnson ETA: I got it, it was just an amazingly tight fit. It scratched the shit out of my delta ring. Thanks for the linked instructions. |

I want to thank USMC88-93 for linking the instruction download. I got my handguards in the mail yesterday and would have been lost without the pdf manual. BTW, the extra hinge/brl mount that was in my roll, is that to use with a 203 mount or does it need to be installed with the lower hg? Thanks |
what upper do you have? I just installed a RIS on my RRA uuper with a HBAR a few minutes ago and it was a major PAIN! I had to use a mallet and also scratched the hell out of my delta ring. It sure isnt going anywhere though.... |
