Hey guys, I have a quick question, I have 2 pre-ban Bushmasters and I am selling one of them to fund the best upper I can get for the money. It's going to be a flat top upper with a 16" barrel with flash a suppressor. What do you consider to be the very best out there??? Is it the LaRue Sniper System or what??? *** It will be mostly used as a battle rifle, but I want it to be a precise shooter too. Please justify your answer & who might build this for me. I have often pondered teh "best" that arfcom would agree on as a concensus. Not necesarily the "best" but what would be the consensus. Larue upper, Larue 12" rail, Noveske 16" midlength barrel, Denny's Ion Bonded M16 BCG, Gas Buster charging handle, and Troy front and rear BUIS is what I came up with. Of course you will need a Larue mount for your optic of choice and either a Phantom or Vortex flash hider or a suppressor mount of your choice from Surefire, AAC, or Ops Inc. For optics everyone would say S&B or US Optics but buy Nightforce or Leupold LOL. If you want non tradition scopes it is, of course, EOtech, Aimpoint, or ACOG. |
My personal favorite barrel for that type of upper would be Denny's Operator. It's a midweight, chromelined 1/7 twist barrel. They shoot very well. Denny can build one to your specs. |
