What triggers do y'all prefer for a RECCE style weapon and why?  Reliability is #1, with precision being next.  Single or 2-stage is OK.

Thanks.

$ no object?  Geissele (IMO)
after that, maybe Timney or McCormick (?  dunno)
then RRA/LMT match 2-stage triggers

I'm holding out for the new Geisselle triggers to come out (maybe not as good as the high-speed, but cheaper hopefully)... I have a RRA NM that is just fine until then.

The Geisselle DRM is an awesome trigger. You can tell what you spent the money on.

The Timney is no slouch either. I have handed people an AR with the Timney in it and the response is generally DAMN! that is nice. Then hand them one with a Geiselle in it and get cussed because I ruined them for factory triggers for life

I'm running the JP Enterprises 3lb. single-stage in mine. The adjustment screws are secured with permanent loctite.

My other SHFT carbine has a LMT 2-stage without any adjustments.

Both are good.

My KAC's have been replaced by Geissele DMR's.  IMHO, they are the best (feel, adjustability, construction, etc.)

My favorite so far is the Accuracy Speaks single stage trigger. Three of my four rifles have this setup.
