I have been shooting conventional rifles for 50 years and have recently got an AR-15 for hunting Coyotes. I have not ben able to get used to the AR-15 stock, when my head is right the stock is high on my shoulder, when the stock is on my shoulder my head and eyes are too high.
My solution was to modify the stock pad position:
1- 6"X1.25"x.100" 70/75 Flat bar stock, drill 4 holes, tap 2 of them, plus 2- 10-32 screws
No modifying of the stock or the pad so it will go right back to origional configuration.
Fits perfect and feels great.

damn that's pretty nice. honestly if you made more of those, and maybe an "adjustible" version as well you might snag some sales with that idea.

That's pretty cool. If it was coyote brown, quick detachable with 18 different settings and made by Magpul you'd had a helluva a market around here.

I roll a ACE full Skeleton...I like it, alot.

Usually when I am shooting an AR, only the toe of the stock is making contact.

The swivels are Polymere, I made the sling using the swivels and Nylon strap from a dog leash from Walmart.

Nicely done, I have the same issue with the ACE + being a little short.
I modified a Morgan adj. shotgun pad to adj for cant and drop.
