I'm looking at buying an ACE skeleton stock for my AR. However i can't find any info on whether it takes a military or commercial buffer tube. Anyone know? And if it takes a military tube what's the best place to buy one?

The full length stock uses either A1 or A2 rifle buffer extension, the "entry" model comes with its own tube

There's no commercial or milspec rifle length buffer extensions, that distinction only exists for carbine stock, in this case you don't have to worry about it, as neither skeleton stocks use carbine buffer extensions.
