www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=320470 There are much nicer lowers available for the same price if you check the EE, and if you still want an EA lower, order it yourself and have it shipped to your local dealer. They're only $77 each direct from Essential Arms. |
Maybe his local funshop is his local dealer? Beside, EA's minimum shipping is $14 so that bring the receiver to $91. That is $14 off his current dealers pricing. I would speculate that after transfer fees, it is a wash. |

Essential Arms has been around since 1982. That's before Rock River, Bushmaster, and many other manufactures. Back in the '80's there were very few brands of "stripped lowers" available... Sendra (Nesard), SGW (Olympic Arms), PWA, and Essential Arms were about the only ones you could buy. Early Bushmaster and some other companies' rifles were built on Essential lowers. I know of a Sheriff's Office nearby whose M16's are all built on Essential lowers. A good product at a very good price. |
What you need to do is stick them in the safe and STFU. She wont know them from a canopener if you are lucky! |
