Could I get a comparison and some opinions regarding the Surefire M-73 versus Midwest Industries MCTAR-17?  Which would you buy and why?  I am not intersted in free float, just a simple and durable rail platform for a light and a VFG.  Price, weight, and how solid it feels would all be points of interest.  If there is another product similar to these that you would recommend instead, I would be interested as well.  Thanks!

I read the linked thread, but really did not get any more answers to my initial question.  I just want a simple comparison of the two products mentioned, preferably firsthand from someone who has used either or both.  Thanks!
