I know Larue makes great handguards especially with that little tab that prevents loosening the handguard under pressure... Can Troy and MI type handguards come loose with a verticle grip under pressure? |
| I have an MRF-C mounted on one of my rifles and love it! It's very stable and capable of having optics or lasers mounted. I would say that the Larue guards are a bit more stable, but only because they are 1-piece units. This is good for stability, but makes them harder to install. The Troys are nice because they provide a monolithic top rail platform and also lock up tight. They are easier to install yourself because you do not have to remove the FSB and FH. All you have to do is cut off the delta ring assembly. |
