Does anyone want to guesstimate a fair price --

Colt 20" A2 upper, 1/7 colt marked barrel, generally excellent condition, with bolt carrier and charging handle?

Looking to buy a gun with this on top for the preban lower and thinking of selling the upper once I do.

TIA

Small or large hole?

If small?

$500-$575 with CH and BCG.

I think it's a large hole upper

It looks standard to me. Of course you would know better as you are looking to buy.

Looks like it could be a Colt HBAR.

I said large hole because of this photo

Don't know for sure

I decided to pass on it.  The seller had no feedback and was charging $65 shipping

I saw that ad myself.  The seller was a real retard.

I can't figure out what type of pin he had jammed in the front takedown hole.

It was wise to run away from that gun.  Who knows was "suprises" you would find once you got it.

Here's the pin from the front hole:

Don't know about the upper, but the lower is a put together job.  That's NOT a Colt buttstock. So it's almost certainly going to need replacement w/a milspec tubed unit.

Suspect you made a wise move in passing on the deal

Good pass!

That's a Bushmaster lower (small hole) with a Colt upper (large hole) assembled with a mickeymouse pin.

If he's fired that combo, the pin holes on both the upper and lower probably got slapped around and are possibly egged.

Someone's gonna wind up buying more trouble than they wanted.

*EDIT* on looking at the pic again, it actually appears to me that the lower was drilled to large hole dimensions but is still using a jurryrigged pin. I.A.C., this rifle is full of bad juju that I would recommend avoiding at all costs.

Only costs $15 to ship an upper CONUS using USPS Priority.  Hate 'tards like that.
