I am looking to buy two(2) 16" 1/7 twist HB barrels in standard pre-ban config. They can have the sight posts or not,gas tubes or not, delta ring/nut assmb yada yada yada. Chrome lined is not a must but I would like decent barrels at a competitive price for a couple of projects I have going.
Ive done a few searches but have not been quite impressed with my results so I thought I would ask the pro's here. Could someone point me in the right direction please? TIA

I am not a pro, but I recently bought a barrel from CMMG. I bought the M4 SOCOM A1. This barrel has the medium contour, not a HB. The twist is 1/7, chrome lined, and is 16 inches. The pice was alittle over $250. Scott

We have no idea what you consider to be "decent" or a "good price" so it is hard to answer.

Go see Compass Lake Engineering.  They use Douglas and Krieger barrels.

I have a 1/8 twist heavy profile 16". I shoot sub MOA at 100yd. Nice stuff.

Me neither, but I'll take a guess;

Good
CMMG Inc

Better
Bravo Company

Best
Denny's Operator

I wouldn't get two heavy barrels. Get one of them in a lighter weight. You'll prefer it more. Get a 5.56 Chamber and chrome lined for easier cleaning and longer life.
