[ARCHIVED THREAD] - A2 Flash hider assembly

I have a new A2 flash hider that I want to put on my
AR-15 It has threads but I cant see how it attaches.
there is a 1/4" recessed area about 1/2" in from the end
but doesn't seem like it screws off
HELP !!!
I am new to the AR-15

It sounds like you have a post ban (non-threaded) barrel. Send it to AR15barrels.com to get threaded, and your A2 will just screw on.

Notice the absence of threads

Here is what your barrel needs to look like to accept the A2 flash hider.
