Quick question guys. I just bought "new" a LMT bolt & it has brass marks on the face. Is this normal for LMT since they HP test the bolts? Thanks!

I have two LMT bolts and they had brass marks and powder residue when I bought them from an authorized LMT dealer.

I also have two Colt bolts same thing.

I think every Bolt group we have received from LMT has been test fired.  (uppers too)
Lots of brass and powder residue.

You know it will be good to go

Thanks Paul! It's kind of funny, every 10 days or so, someone asks about who MP tests thier bolts or how does LMT compare to Colt, etc. No one ever mentions that the easiest way to tell is by the test firing residue & brass marks.
