Are there any special regulations required to obtain say an 11.5 upper? Is it the same as far as say obtaining a 16" upper? If I order it, will a dealer ship it? Daryn |

No regulations for the upper to speak of. It's the lower you put it on that matters. Your lower either needs to be registered as a Short Barreled Rifle, a pistol, or a Machinegun. Check here for more info: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=22&t=199905 There's a whole NFA section dedicated to stuff like this. |

Great pics Zack. I love your setup. I checked ND laws and I can obtain the NFA permit to possess a short barrelled rifle. Did you know that ND allows the sale of firearms from one non FFL holder to another (secondary sales) via newspaper or internet? Cool. I also read that Sarah Brady gave ND a grade of "D" minues for gun laws. Damn Cool! Daryn |
what part of ND are you in? |

We have a couple of outdoor ranges here outside of town in Fargo. Otherwise my little brother and I head out south of Fargo about 45 minutes where we are planning on setting out gong targets to 1,000 yards for our .782 warbird and .300 ultra mags. I am 38 and my little brother is 31. Daryn |
