Carbines came originally with standard buffers. When did Colt change to H buffers? Same question for H2 buffers. What caused them to change?

H buffer 1994 on M4s only.  A 6530/6520 would still have a standard weight buffer.  I don't know if they have an H buffer now, but in 1997, they still came with a standard buffer.

H2 in 2000 for the RO921HB (M4A1 with SOCOM weight barrel)

Thanks.  I'm not good on numbers.  Is the Commando one you list?  If not, do you know when they changed buffers on them?

Current 11.5" guns use the H3 buffer but I don't know when that practice started.
