Does anyone make a TRUE drop in rail system for a carbine length AR? I mean all I need to do is remove the standard ones and put the new ones on. No cutting the Delta Ring, no removing the FSB etc etc. I'm not mechanically inclined enough nor do I have a 'smith or the tools to do anything more difficult than this.
Did a bunch of looking around the site and couldn't find this specific subject so thought I'd ask.

KAC RASII.

Most dealers are currently offering the SHOT show special as well.  Carbine length rail system/RASII, vertical grip, and panels for an extremely reasonable price.

I think Operation Parts has them advertised in the EE

Midwest Industries makes a nice set that installs the same way as standard handguards.

YHM makes a set as well, though they aren't as nice as the MI units.

Knight's Armament Co. M4 RAS (Part # 98064) with KAC VFG

The KAC M4 RAS have a locking bracket at the barrel nut to prevent movement.

There's an optional KAC UK-SAS lower rail w/ clamp (Part # 20033) is an upgrade to the standard M4 RAS or RIS lower rail, clamps on to the barrel nut instead of just being held by the delta ring.

Take a look at Operation Parts ads and other sellers at the Equipment Exchange.

I got these to see if I would like having the go fast goodies (lights, forward grip). My intention was to go with a free float handguard later on. The MI handguards have worked so well I am foregoing the free floats for now.
