I have a VLTOR MUR upper, when i mate it with a LMT defender lower, there is a little play. is it more likely that my LMT lower is not as in "Spec" as my MUR upper?

IF THEY WERE BOTH "PERFECT", PLUS OR MINUS NOTHING, THE FIT WOULD BE LOOSE. THE FACT YOU HAVE ONLY A LITTLE LOOSENESS, NOT A LOT, WOULD INDICATE THAT ONE OR BOTH MIGHT BE ON THE PLUS SIDE OF THE TOLERANCE SCALE.

I see, just wondering cause i had a  DSA/LMT lower mated with a cmt upper and the fit was pretty tight but i sold off both so i couldnt try the lower on upper vis/versa.

thanks Wes

the reason im assuming my LMT lower is not "as spec" is because the MUR is cut to higher standards,

I will be getting issued a duty AR soon anyways ill just put the mur on the other lower and see.
