Just bought a mid length RRA upper.  I'm looking to mount just a vert grip and maybe a light so I don't really need a free float rail system.

Does anyone make something I could just snap on like the Knights RAS I bought for my RRA 20" (Which didn't fit the heavy RRA barrel by the way so I'm using it on my Bushy)

Thanks

You've got lots of options. YHM makes some non ff railed hangaurds that mount just like the handguards that are on it. MI makes a FF tube that installs pretty easy, you don't have to remove the front sight base or anything. There are several other easy to install routes you could go. The surefire handgaurds are another option though I don't know if they make them for a middy or not. Check out some of the venders in the industry section and you'll see all kinds of different options to meet your needs. Prices will go from $90 on up.

I got an M85 from Surefire.  If and when I ever get my upper I will fill you in on what I like and dislike about it.

I have the MI MCTAR-18 on my RRA mid-length.  It installs just like regular handguards and locks up solid with ZERO wobble.  I highly recommend them.
