I see a lot of Vortex's on precision rifles. I understand that they have no detrimental effect on mechanical accuracy, I was wondering if the Knights Armament q.d. comp shares effect as well (Better or worse.)

If the KAC comp hides flash better than an A2, is lighter and shorter than a Vortex,  has no ill effects on accuracy, and won't kick up dust when shooting prone, tell me what I'm missing!

Anyone have the weights and OAL of the two?

THE VORTEX HIDES THE FLASH BETTER, TRUE. IT'S A GREAT MUZZLE DEVICE FOR ACCURACY, TOO.

THE KAC M4 QD COMP HANDLES DUST SIGNATURE AND MUZZLE RISE BETTER; PLUS, IT IS EVERY BIT AS ACCURATE AS THE VORTEX.

THIS CARBINE HAS A 31 OUNCE 16" BARREL:

IT SHOT FIVE INTO 0.60 MOA WITH ALL THREE LOADS I TRIED IN IT. AFTER TWO QUAD GRANDE BREVE' LATTES, THAT'S ABOUT AS GOOD AS I CAN HOLD.
