I somehow broke my Ergo ambi sure grip. I picked it up and noticed it was a tiny bit "floppy" on one side, but still strong enough from the rubberized overlay. Anyway, got a new one today from Falcon and noticed they have "tethered" the grip cover to the grip itself. It also fits much tighter. The inner grip / void seems to have been beefed up significantly. There is still room for a front site tool, but the hole is gone that it sits in so it rattles. (That's the only thing I'll miss.) I may be crazy, but the grip seems to feel a little better too...different somehow. Maybe they enhanced the finger grooves??? They also added a little "nub" to the top side of the "gapper"...I assume to make for an even tighter fit. The hole for the safety selector detent spring must be more shallow too because it has a much more positive feel to it and yes, I put a drop of Mobil-1 on the tip of the dentent before I poked it back in. Glad the old one broke now. Beverly @ Falcon is AWESOME too..very nice lady.

Did you get the SureGrip or Rigid Polymer model?

SureGrip

...the only way to go.

Goes nice with the Ergo ladder rail covers and soon to be MagPul CTR rubber stock piece.

I've got several Ergo Grips all bought at least a year ago.  last week I bought a couple more from my local.  The are 'rigid' grips, have the tethered end cap and the front area has been opened up.  Makes it a lot easier to fit the screw in plus looks like it's sized right for a battery or two.  A big improvement over older ones I have.
