| What do they do as a final finish to the inside of a chamber after finish reaming the it? I see some chamber hones that are 220 and 500 grit for sale. Anyone acutally use them and are they polished even smoother than that? |

Depending on the condition of the chamber reamer, it's often not necessary to hone the chamber. I usually run a 400 grit reamer in just to put a good finish though. It does not necessarily cut any metal, but it lays over any microscopic metal burrs that may have been standing up. |
