| I need a new barrel. I see WOA barrels advertised and then I see barrels advertised as "contoured and chambered by WOA". So does WOA make the actual barrel blank on one and not the other? Whose blanks do they use? What type of accuracy can be expected from them. I am looking to get a 16 inch mid length (.75 at the port for my LT gas block). I have not decided on any one barrel in particular but was curious of these WOAs. thanks |

WOA uses barrel balnks from several barrel manufacturers. Shaw I think, Wilson, Douglas, Shilen, Pac-Nor, Krieger and others I am sure. They have a downloadable catalog on their website. I haven't downloaded it yet but did order a 6.8 Pac-Nor barrel a couple weeks ago. Also nearly all custom chambered barrels will outshoot a factory chambered barrel. Not saying you can't get a good factory barrel just a matter of production vs. custom tolerance considerations. |
