[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Securing Left Hand Upper in vice

I'm going to be installing DD 9.5 rail. I need to secure the upper in the vice. My action block won't work since its a left hand upper

. How did you guys secure your LH upper in the vice. I need to take the barrel and front sight apart to install that rail.

You could always use barrel blocks...

Thats works but what if the barrel has to come off? Still need to secure the upper.

WTF are you talking about? Why would you need to secure the receiver if the barrel is firmly clamped in a set of barrel blocks?
