Anyone here use or has used the Command Arms Stock Saddle?  Im looking at using one on my CAR stock for now until I finish my current build with everything else that is going on it.  It looked like a decent and inexpensive way to get a better stock profile/weld for now.  I have other items to buy and dropping a couple hundred bucks on a stock is not as much a functional item as the rest.

If you have, how good is the weld, ergo's, secure fit and method of attachment?

thanks..

I installed two of them on my buddy's M4s.

They install using the rear sling slit in the back of the buttstock, so you cannot use it for a sling anymore.

The attachment is good, and the cheek weld is great.  For $20, it's worth your time.

thanks for the reply, i dont affix my sling to the stock itself so this should be a plus.
it looks like a decent product for what it is so i think i may be getting one.

I like mine well enough.  I think for the money it's a very good value.  I thought it might be a loose fit at first but it really surprised me.

I like mine, very comfortable.

If you want to use it on a CAR-type stock, I believe you will need to modify the stock for it to fit.  These are made to fit the ribbed, M4-type stocks.

I bought one and used it until I got a Vltor and I really liked it alot.  For $20 it was well worth it

I have one on an LMT stock. After it is mounted it is very similar in feel to the Vltor. The Vltor uses thicker plastic and is more sturdy but  CAA  is significantly cheaper. If you already have an M4 type stock this is the way to go.
