I was wondering who makes good complete barrled uppers? I would like to assemble one my self but i'm not sure i'm ready. I already have looked at BCM and i would like a 1/7 twist I am extremely "green" when it comes to these rifles. |

| I have experience with both BCM and LMT uppers, both ordered from Bravo Company. The owner is a Marine, so he worked with me awesome. They are pretty much the exact same upper, both 1/7. I bought a LMT 16" upper and my buddy got a 16" BCM, they looked damn near the same out of the box. Call up Paul (The owner, I am pretty sure that is his name, it has been a little while) and talk to him, hes a great guy to work with. |

I just ordered an upper from CMMG. I ordered a medium contour barrel, 1/7 twist, proper barrel steel, chrome lined, and a good reputation. I chose the 18" though I was looking for a 20" to begin with. I think this might be a great mix use barrel. I also considered the BM 20" govt profile. The do not offer the heavy fluted in 1/7 (I asked) I had also considered BCM but they are out of stock the stuff I was looking for and I don't hesitate when the wife says "well, OK".... She might change her mind!
