Is there such a thing?  Who makes it/how do you get it?  Thanks.

Still looking for an ambi tac latch.  the other thread answered the ambi mag release.

So far, the best option I see is the badger RH first gen tac latch, which can be manipulated by turning the rifle over slightly.  Anyone have a better idea?  thanks.

Dont

The Canadian C7A2 series has an ambi latch and it is hated.

Most of the ambi systems stick out way to far causing flexing and binding of the charging handle -- or are machined in such a way to prevent normal right left hand charging (or both)

The C7A2 has the Norgon Ambi-Catch, right?

Justin -- two different things

Norgon Ambi-Catch is the mag release -versus - the ambi charging handle is what is hated

I actually did see a true ambi charging handle about a month ago at the SOCOM show in Tampa.  If a remember correctly, Badger Ordanance is the manufacturer.  It looks identical to a standard charging handle except for the existance of an identical lever on the right side of the charging handle as well as the left.  Obviously the latch is still in the same location but can be released from either side.  It looked and felt like a decent product.  I have no idea if this has been released yet...Wait one....heres the link.

I bought a M & A PARTS AMBIDEXTROUS TACTICAL LATCH from brownells.Ambi Latch

I removed the tactical latch part and kept the ambi part. I removed it with a dremmel and used Aluminum Black to touch it up. This thing works great for leftys.
