How much of the barrel will be exposed on a 14.5" and 16" barrel when fitted with a troy 13" rail?

The 14.5 would probobly just expose the threads so a Noveske can be fitted flush??????

Troy them selfs are using 13.6" barrels with the Noveske pinned and thier new 13" rails.

Is it legal to attach a Noveske FH by 1200F silver soldering it to a cut 13.7 barrel? Will bring it out to 16.1" but do you need to pin it?

Couple questions:

Is it 13" rail or 13.5"?? Troy site says 13".

How much does the rifle pictured weight?

At the end of day 3 in the last class I was in we were practicing shooting with one had.

Bring it up, two to the body, one to the head. My 14.5" heavy barrel with Surefire M500 forend felt like a ton! I really want to avoid a real heavy gun but this looks interesting.

Looking at the same handguard for the exact same setup. The Troy is a two-piece handguard system right???

It's labeled a 13.5, here is another on a 20" Krieger. The 14.5" setup above is not light, but it's a heavier stainless Scout barrel for precision work.

Yes, the Troy is a 2 piece rail and it installs on the GI barrel nut.

Silver solder is an ATF approved method for permanent attachment. Personally I would rather pin and weld and save the barrel from the heat. Opinions differ
