http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f135/Stain5150v/AR15.jpg Is there any filler that I can use to fill the dip in the barrel? If so, how do I it. And what are some other options, I really don't want to buy a new barrel. |

It's tuning out to be a hell of a night. If you didn't like the M4 profile, why did you buy it? It doesn't affect anything, just there to mount your registered DD or 39mm 'nade launcher. <shrug> BTW: If you W.E.C.S.O.G it or Mujahideen engineer it, it will look like shit! BTW#2: It ain't broke, don't fix it! |
Forget the bondo, lead baby, fill it with lead! You can have the only Lead Sled on arfocom! |

If you dimensioned it and turned a part to match what is not there, and cut that in half [or make 2 and mill both in half for halves], you could attach it with a pipe clamp and tack it, then remove the clamp, weld the seams and turn them flush. That would be probably the first time anyone has ever done that. My opinion- when someone has never done something sometimes it's cool to say you did. Not my idea or something I want to do but I do crazy shit from time to time so I can't really sling mud. |
WTF????? PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE!!! |

"The only way you can fill the cut out is to place a M203 under the barrel. Anything else will make that rifle unshootable." Not true. I had a barrel with a custom suppressor mount welded forward of the front sight base and it was very shootable. 1/3 MOA shootable. I guess the key is it is probably not neccessary but is a Lincoln Navigator neccessary? A rolex watch? cosmetic gold front teeth? I guess the point is this guy wants it so he can decide if it is worth working on. It's still supposed to be a relatively free country. |
