What about something like a dissipator but using standard M4 handguards? I would also like the barrell to be a pencil barrell contour and the front sight tower pushed forward as far as possible whiel still leaving enough room for a flash suppressor or sound suppressor to screw on.

Anyone seen anything like this?

anything else as you describe would be kinda fugly lookin. car handguards-- on a long bbl and a lonely fsb at the end?

We do this in a 10.3" medium contour. The gas is tapped early in dissipator fashion. Unlike a dissy, the gas tube continues and acts as expansion chamber. It could be lightened as well.

Here is a 7.3" with the same gas system. CAR length HGs can be used in place of the Mid.

Actually, while CMMG has some awesome stuff goin on there, yes, I really did mean to have M$ hadnguards and gas system, then a long skinny barrell with FSB all the way out at the end. Idon;t care if it's ugly, that's what I had in mind.
