I'm curious as to how much weight is lost when going from a 16" to a shorter bbl like 11.5", and 14.5". Also, just for specifics, I'm asking mainly about m4 profile bbls.

Going from a 16" M4 to a 14.5" M4 saves you 3.2oz

Going from a 16" M4 to a 16" A1 profile saves you a very noticable 4.8oz

16" A1 profile to 11.5" A1 profiles saves you 3.2oz.

16" M4 to 11.5" A1 profile is then a savings of 8oz
