What's the purpose of the Noveske unit? Why would it be prefered over a standard type flash suppressor?

in short, if you have an 11" barrel and dont have a can on it, the KFH its a great idea.   Its a nothing more than an expensive half pound muzzle weight on non NFA length barrels.
