Has anyone heard anything about compensators over comping on the superlight or affecting its performance in anyways? Hoping I didnt lob $220 for no reason. Thanks ahead of time.

I recently built one and love it. I have never heard anything about a compensator overcomping. Mine has the A2 flash hider. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Just enjoy it.

Why would you put a comp on an AR? Proper stance is as effective and hurts your ears a lot less. IMHO, most of the ARs recoil is caused by the reciprocating mass moving in the receiver anyway.

i have a phantom 5c1 on mine and it has the closed bottom which in a way comps it and have not notice any over comping and it is my favorite rifle. the superlight barrel is a great one
