I have a BM 14.5 upper with permently mounted flashider, now I want to mount a
Yankee Hill Machine
YHM-9394
3 Piece Gas Block Flip Sight with Bayonet Lug for .750 diameter barrels,

How can I get the front sight off with a perm. flashider installed?
can it be cut off some how?

thanks

Cut it off carefully with a dremel.

knock the pins out and then hold it over the m4 step that way if you slip you have a little leeway before hitting the barrel.

Now what do you think about the Yankee Hill Machine YHM-9394
3 Piece Gas Block Flip Sight with Bayonet Lug for .750 diameter barrels,?
Are there any others I should  consider?

I have the same YHM-9394 model that I'm going to use in my A4gery project. I don't have a permanent FS but I still chosen that particular model because it could be easily adjusted and removed for cleaning and maintenance.

For other similar multi piece FSB, I can't think of any at this time but the YHM-9390A two piece gas block and YHM-9584 gas block front flip sight or similar setup in other brands is another option but more pricey.
