| I sent my RRA midlength 16" SS upper to YHM for installation of thier light weight 4 rail FF forend, Flip up front sight/gasblock and forend cap. The price was no more than it would have been from most of the venders I checked out. They received the upper from me on Monday and shipped it out on Tuesday afternoon and was in my hands on Wednesday. The forend seems to be perfectly lined up. I checked it using a surface plate and a dail indicator and the top rail hight matches the upper receiver to within less than .001". The front sight is a great unit. Bang for the buck it's tops for folding front sights, seems very tough. Brand new Tango Down VFG went on with only hand pressure and is wobble free. Magpul panels went on with no problem either. Finish on all parts is first rate. I couln't be happier. The whole set up with installation cost considerably less than most of the high end rails alone. Add in the nice installation, quich turn around, end cap and folding sight and it is very hard to beat. I put the upper on a pre-ban Eagle arms bought off the EE with a Magpul M93B and MIAD grip in OD. BUIS is an ARMS #40L. I have a Simmons 1-5x Pro Diamond I plan on trying out with this set up. Truthfully I'm so happy with the way things turned out I may have to buy a TA31F or at least a TA01. YHM gets gets the nod from me! I'll post pics asap. |
| I like YHM. I get all of my flash suppressors, gas blocks, gas tubes, and other small parts from them. They make a lot of the stuff the other manufacturers sell. Most of BM modular stuff is from YHM. They are a great company, sell quality products, and have excellent service. |

I have the YHM 2 piece carbine rail system. Rock solid and in my opinion, bteer than the KAC RAS I had before. I do however use KAC rail covers on it. Even looks the same. Well sort of. The YHM has the oblong slots and the KAC RAS has the circles (holes). The YHM RAS vents heat just as well too. Can't beat $129.00. You can buy 2 YHM rails for the price of 1 KAC. I also have a few Phantom FS's. Great stuff!
