Gents,
Just sent my rifle off to Compass Lake Engineering to have one of their two stage triggers installed.  They have to remove the sear block to do this.  I wanted to install a RRA trigger in my rifle, but the double pinned sear block was a bridge too far.  Anyway, anyone have any experience with the Compass Lake trigger?  Thanks for any feed back.

I have had a Compass Lake 2 stage trigger in my AR for over 4 years.  The trigger feels very good to me and has been reliable.  I shoot NRA highpower and have over 2000 rounds through this trigger.  However, the CLE trigger has a reputation in highpower circles for failing without warning and needing replacement.  I have seen this happen to another shooter personally.  His trigger went from a 4.5 lb pull to a 20 lb pull in the middle of a match.  If I were you I would go with an RRA trigger tuned by John Holliger of White Oak Precision.  I am buying one to keep for the day when my Compass Lake trigger goes.
