Was thinking of purchasing an M4 upper from them (14.5" fixed phantom, chrome barrel, flattop). Are their uppers and barrels worth it or is this a waste of money?

Also they allow you to choose either A2 flattop or A3 flattop for no extra charge. What is the difference?

would a RRA upper be a better route to go? Also would it cost alot more to go this route? And how does it compare with "model1Sales" stuff?

I had bad luck with one and now I just bought a STAG upper model 2H and I think the quality is much better than the M1S I had. Plus the STAG upper is only $495 w/ the BUIS.

Something else to think about with M1S. If you buy a barrel w/ a welded f.s. you can't get it with the chrome lining.

+1. I just picked up a STAG ARMS model 1 (complete rifle). When I opened up the rifle case when I received it there was: 30rnd mag, poster, oper manual, warranty card, t-shirt, and of course a beautiful rifle There quality is top notch, better than my bushie and colt and there attention to detail is excellent. I could not be happier. I would recommend anything that stag puts out there. They are no joke!

I need to embezzle more money from the wife. I got another Stag lower just sitting in hte basement with nothing to do.

Rumor says that Stag is going to expand their choices of barrels this summer too.
