I saw an old Colt AR at a pawn shop here. It is marked SP-1. It has triangle handguards and no forward assist. It is in very good shape with no real marks on it at all. They are asking 1499.00

Maybye I can get some pics and let you guys look at it. It looks interesting but probably isn't much better than the DPMS I have now.

Too much, Maybe if it were a very low serial number but I'm guessing that he's just way over priced, does he realize the ban has expired?
Seeing that you are in a state without a ban, unless you like getting butt raped, I wouldn't pay that much. YMMV.
