I see a lot of lowers, at good prices. I have used only RRA to this point, but am looking at Stag and Mega. Are these of good quality? Is there anyothers to concider? I am using for high power shooting.
thanks

bigdog316,

Stag is from the same place as RRA.....can't go wrong.  MEGA does CNC stuff for NASA and other nitty-picky folks..........can't go wrong.  I'm going with a STAG 6.8 lower with a MagPul stock for my 13yr old daughter.

Stag and mega are great.  Also check out Ameetec and LAR/Grizzly for good and reasonably priced receivers.  Basically, any modern CNC machined forged lower is p[retty good these days.  The only thing to really stay away from is a cast recevier, expecially Vulcan/Hesse cast receviers.  The only cast receiver I would consider is an Essential Arms as they were the best of the cast ARs.

I would check out Compass Lake Eng.  They are highly thought of in that field.

+1 for Stag. Best fit and finish that I have seen.

Stag & Mega a both very nice.  But who wants a dear head logo?    Get the MEGA for the price/value, you can't go wrong.

I am not going to start jumping around using differant lowers. On my last two builds I used RRA lowers, I was very happy with fit and finish.
