Hello, I am interested in purchasing a complete Upper from JP. I was hoping that I would get feed back from anyone who currently has one or has shot one. What I will be doing is mostly 3-gun stuff at close range and some tactical courses at Thunder Ranch. Was thinking of a 16inch or 18inch. Regards, Jan |

JP is owned and run by John Paul Gangl, who shoots 3Gun himself at most of the major matches, and is the major match sponsor for the RM3G-Raton match each August. Customer service is first rate. If you are a USPSA member, I think they give a discount on guns. Their products are first rate. You see a lot of JP rifles at any major 3Gun match. I have the CTR-02 model, 20", medium contour barrel, 1:8". When I got it, it would shoot quarter-MOA 5-shot groups at 220 yards. You can't go wrong with a 3Gun rifle by buying one from JP... and you'll save money in the long run over piecing together something that's "sort of" right, and then buying the real right thing later.
