The long awaited LT 9.0 is finally here! I got this in yesterday and built my Mid-Length upper today. I used a WOA barrel from Denny @ GTS. If any of you are looking for an accurate SS 16" barrel, check out his ad in the EE or his web site for more details. www.globaltactical.com

Man that's just sweet!  So, how much are you selling them for?

BTW, can you snap a pic of that carbine with KAC rail panels installed?

Is installing the PRI flip-up front sight something that an "amateur garage gunsmith" can do?

I don't have any trouble swapping barrels (have the right tools) but the FSB has always been somewhere I've been afraid to go.

Looks sharp...I like to see one more rail system added to the mix...especially from a company like Larue.

Check out the "Step By Step" threads by FALARAK, they have been a huge help for me. Just make sure when removing the FSB that you first oil up the entire barrel thoroughly before sliding the FSB off. This will help ensure that you dont scratch your barrel.

Grant,

How well do those barrels shoot? Have you had a chance to fire for accuracy yet?

Looks nice!

If you can pull a barrel then you can install a PRI flip up front. The only (sometimes) hard part is lining up the gas port....

Not for accuracy yet. I op-checked it, but that is all. Denny tells me that they are VERY accurate....

I don't think I will have TONS of them, but should have enough to meet the initial demand. They should be available in a week or so. If you have NOT sent me an e-mail requesting to be put on the 9.0 back order list, it would be good idea! [email protected]

Or can I use a PRI aluminum alloy barrel nut?

They save 2.5oz...

The lower in the pic is a Lauer that I got from Denny @ www.globaltactical.com. I must say that they are best lowers I have EVER owned....

The LaRue 9 inch forend will look great on this project. I wish Denny would have had the barrels listed by themselves. I went with one from Adco, I think I like it heavy under the forearm, great ballance.

I have only put a few rounds through it so far. Break-in/ Sight-in, not much movement at all. It is a little heavy, and long, not much worse then a vortex or phantom, but a little. I'd say I like it, don't know if I'd say it was "worth" it.
