Looking to try one of these for "low $" project. Need to know about the security of the nut to tube arrangement. I was less than impressed with another brand that I looked at.

What are you planning to do with it, use it as a baseball bat? If properly installed and not intentionally abused, it will work just fine.

Nope, I've seen the jam nut come loose on several just in the rigors of a 3GM. All had VFG and/or bipods.
